When we met with this client, they said that they wanted a rear single storey extension and a garage conversion to connect the existing garage to the main part of the house. We loved working on this project, as we knew how much it meant to the client to have extra space in their home. Their garage was previously used for storage, and we wanted to ensure that the client wasn’t inconvenienced. To prevent them having to disperse their stored items throughout the rest of the house, we included deep wall length storage in the garage conversion.
Extra space is so valuable for a growing family. Often, it can make more sense to have an extension built on a property instead of moving to a new house. When you take into account the difference in market value between a three bedroom house and a four bedroom house, the costs of extending a property can often be cheaper than the cost of moving.
